The ZukunftsRaum exhibition invites visitors to experience - and help shape - the city of tomorrow. Visitors can expect walk-in installations, participatory workshops and AI-supported formats on around 500 m² that address key questions about our urban future: How do we want to live together?
In five themed “future spaces”, challenges such as housing shortages, climate adaptation and social participation are not only explained, but made tangible. Whether in the form of a walk-in 9 m² apartment, vertical gardens or ideas for barrier-free urban design - the exhibition combines creativity with concrete impulses for sustainable urban development.
One of the highlights of the exhibition is an interactive format with artificial intelligence: after answering a few questions, visitors receive an individually generated vision of the future, which is presented together with the prompt as part of the exhibition. Over the course of the exhibition, these individual visions come together to form a collective, speculative urban landscape and are published as a joint vision at the end of the exhibition.
At the same time, theses will be jointly developed in workshops, which will be handed over to representatives from politics, administration and civil society at the end - as concrete impulses from the middle of urban society.
