Mischa Kuball: "eight planets, one star, one world"

With the exhibition eight planets, one star, one world, the Bilker Bunker presents a space-related light installation that creates an immersive experience - the feeling of moving in another sphere is created.
Interlocking reflections connect the dark space and suggest the presence of Venus, Mars, Saturn and other planets. Their names, projected onto mirror balls, are torn into shreds of light by rotation and reflection and lose their clear assignment; like the viewers, they lose themselves in the gently rotating images of the dark space.

Behind the meter-thick concrete walls, the “Bilker Bunker” opens up a free space for creative expression and social exchange. As a non-profit cultural institution, the “Bilker Bunker” is independent, lively, interactive and open to everyone. In addition to art exhibitions and the “Schleuse Zwei” music bar, it offers space for culture, music, sport, fashion and innovative concepts on a total of seven floors. All income generated - including from the bookings of multi-spaces and the bicycle garage - flows directly into the art and culture business so that it can support itself in the future.
